The focus of this second in the Identity Series: Your Unique Design Workshop is to connect to your identity - the part that is uniquely you. In this workshop, we focus on 3 different aspects of what is uniquely you. During this 3 hour workshop, participants can paint a warm-up painting exercise followed by 3 paintings.
Identity Series Intro
I believe that identity is a big topic nowadays for a very big reason, it is at the core of who we are, and when we don’t know who we are, we can wander aimlessly or focus on the unimportant or low priority or things we don’t value, but that others value, because we don’t know. So come get clarity on your identity, specifically the part that comes from you being you and continue your identity-focused journey to your purpose, or enhance that journey that you are already on.
Identity: Your Unique Design Background
The Identity: Your Unique Design Workshop was created by Anna Elliott after going through a phase were identity became really important. After having her son, she became so enamored and involved with taking care of him, her family and her job, that she forgot who she was - not her roles, or her relationships, but what made her unique. This mattered because her focus in life became being who other people needed her to be instead of care taking for them while also being herself. When we stop recognizing our uniqueness, we limit our voice, our ability to walk out our identity and our purpose. This workshop is based on her journey to reconnect to who she is by connecting to her unique qualities. These three concepts your mind's uniqueness, your heart's uniqueness, and another aspect of your uniqueness will be the topics we'll be painting during this workshop. This workshop is a way for you to discover or remember who you are in your uniqueness.
What is Your Unique Design?
Your Unique Design is an experiential workshop designed to help you paint about who you are based on your mind, your heart and your physical body.
We were made uniquely and this workshop celebrates that uniqueness. When we don't recognize our uniqueness, we can have a hard time describing who we are, beyond our roles or what we do in life, and this can create confusion regarding what we are made to do if we don't recognize our strengths or how we are wired, and incorporate them into our life. This 3 hour workshop is the 2nd in the identity series, but the beginning of recognizing, continuing to recognize, or reminding ourselves who we are. It is really hard to apply our uniqueness or be able to discover or have clarity about our purpose when we don't know who we are. This Your Unique Design Workshop gives you the opportunity to do just that.
This workshop is an opportunity for you to explore your connection to your identity, specifically the identity that is based on who you are.
This is an opportunity to start focusing on your identity, as this is one of a 3 part-series focused on different parts of your identity. Each workshop is one-off, but there will be a synergistic effect when one attends all three in a row (1/month). When we are confident in who we are, and who we are on account of whose we are, we can then focus on getting confident in what specifically makes each of us unique, which plays into our purpose, which are the identity series workshops cover.
This is the end of wondering who you are, and the beginning of discovering who and whose you are so that you can live fully with clarity in what you bring to the table in your life, in the people that matter most to you, even in your work. And when we have clarity about who we are and our uniqueness, we can appreciate it, which can help others to appreciate it as well. Each person's Your Unique Design experience is unique to them.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for individuals interested in connecting to their identity as themselves in their uniqueness.
What if I am not an artist or a painter?
No artistic talent is required for this workshop. This workshop focuses on the meaning behind the painting.

When you sign up for this online art workshop, here's what you'll get:
- 3 Hr Paint Your Story Live Art Workshop held on Zoom
- Paint Box with painting supplies to be used during the workshop, shipped to you (only US mailing addresses) as provided in the address on the right side of this page.
The Paint Box includes art supplies for a one-time Paint Your Story art workshop:
- 3 Canvases (Framed or Panels)
- Brushes
- Paint
- Disposable Apron and Name Tag
- Disposable Paint Palette
The Paint Box is anticipated to be shipped about 10 days prior to the art workshop date.
To participate in the workshop, you need:
- To be Comfortable with using and operating Zoom software (this includes turning on/off the camera, microphone, using the raise hand and chat features).
- A computer with updated Zoom software. See Zoom for more information.
- High-Speed Internet Access.
To prepare for the art workshop, here are some useful supplies not covered in the workshop that can enhance your experience:
1. Water Container for cleaning brushes (not something you ever use to drink out of, could be a plastic cup or a plastic container of some kind).
2. Paper Towels and Baby Wipes (to wipe brush paint on, and for cleaning up messes or cleaning your hands)
3. Tissues (such as Kleenex)
4. Something to cover your table to protect it from paint (I recommend a plastic tablecloth or garbage bag).
5. Your favorite non-alcoholic drink (my fav has been SpinDrift).
5. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting paint on in case it happens.
6. Be sure to come camera ready, with videocamera on so we can see you!
Also...
Please show up 20-30 minutes prior so that in case you have any trouble connecting you might have time to get it figured out or your computer rebooted and won't have missed anything. We'll get started about 15 minutes before so we can set up our paint palette together before we get started!
